A few things to know
Clear from the start.
Is Otto an insurer or a broker?
Neither. Otto Benefits is a technology company in early access that designs the plan. An insurer underwrites and issues it, and cover is arranged by the insurer directly or by a licensed broker. Otto does not provide insurance coverage.
Can we buy the plan today?
Not through this site. We are designing the plan with an insurer and game studios. There is no live plan, instant quote or insurance purchase here.
Will every company share one policy?
That has not been determined. The programme could involve separate employer policies with coordinated terms. A single multi-company contract would require insurer acceptance and legal review.
Will joining mean a lower premium?
We cannot promise savings. Pricing and eligibility depend on the insurer’s assessment, coverage, participation and other underwriting factors.
We already have insurance. How would we switch?
We’ll publish the transition terms here once the insurer confirms them. Until then, share your renewal month and current coverage type in the form, and we’ll plan around your renewal.
Do we need OttoHR or a new broker?
No. You can join early access without using OttoHR or changing your broker. If your team already runs on Otto HR, new hires and leavers can flow to the policy automatically, with your authorization. Kolay İK and accountant payroll files come next. Health data stays walled off from HR either way.
What information should we send?
Company-level information only: company name, approximate team size, renewal month, current coverage type and how much your last renewal went up. Please do not send employee lists, identity numbers, medical records or claims documents.
